Our Current Procedures:

Adirondack Extreme Adventure Course will join New York State in adopting the new CDC guidance on mask use and social distancing for fully vaccinated individuals. We are pleased to take this next step and promise to maintain a culture of respectfulness for our clientele who may still feel safest wearing their mask in public.

1. Reservations: Reservations and payment are required prior to your arrival. Book online at www.AdirondackExtreme.com. Same-day reservations may be available. For specific information on your preferred departure time and date check our availability calendar via our book now button on our website.
2. Face-Masks: Face-covering upon check-in, harnessing procedures, as well as walking throughout the pathways in our park is no longer required of fully vaccinated persons. Masks are required for non-vaccinated persons while in our welcome center and other designated areas as assigned. 
3. Gloves: Fingerless climbing gloves are available for purchase but NOT required. We do allow you to bring your own gloves provided they are tight-fitting and appropriate.
   Our courses are monitored by guides from the ground to enforce social distancing rules. We will be increasing our guide staff to ensure we maintain adequate monitoring.
4. Restrooms: Our restrooms will be open. Frequent touchpoints to be cleaned every half-hour.
5. Sanitization: Harnesses are thoroughly sanitized between each use. Thorough equipment, gear, and facility cleaning to be deployed daily and includes:

Sanitizing of all common areas and touchpoints. Tables, floors, doors/door handles, benches, railings, counters etc.

We have enhanced gear-harness cleaning. All reusable gear is cleaned between each use with disinfectant wipes as well as “Clear Gear.” a sports gear cleanser that disinfects, deodorizes, and removes potentially harmful bacteria from sports gear and PPE equipment. All commonly touched surfaces (door handles, countertops, will be wiped down after each departure time. Hand sanitizing stations will be positioned throughout the facility for frequent hand cleaning. We do NOT serve prepared food or beverages. Pre-packaged foods and drinks will be for sale on a self-serve check-out.

9. Staff Training: The Adirondack Extreme team has been trained on appropriate cleaning disinfectant and hygiene and employees will wash or sanitize their hands between each interaction with customers.

For the sake of our staff and guests, we kindly ask that you please follow the social distancing and sanitary guidelines that have been put in place to protect you and other customers and employees. Prior to your arrival please provide an overall self-health check for every member of your group for any signs of COVID-19 exposure including:

1. Symptoms: Fever, Cough, Shortness of Breath, Headache, Rash. Body Aches, Chills, Nausea, Diarrhea
2. Known close contact with someone who is COVID-19 symptomatic
