"Two Lake George Area Attractions Nominated for USA TODAY’s Best Of Awards"
Adirondack Extreme Adventure Course and Tubby Tubes River Co. recognized among the nation’s top outdoor attractions

LAKE GEORGE REGION, NY — Two beloved outdoor attractions in the Lake George region are gaining national recognition after being nominated in USA TODAY’s annual “10Best Readers’ Choice Awards,” spotlighting some of the best adventure experiences in the country.

Adirondack Extreme Adventure Course, located in Bolton Landing, has been nominated in the category recognizing top aerial adventure and zipline experiences, while Tubby Tubes River Co. in Lake Luzerne has earned a nomination celebrating premier lazy river tubing destinations.

The nominations place both attractions alongside nationally recognized outdoor adventure destinations and highlight the growing reputation of the southern Adirondacks as a hub for family-friendly outdoor recreation.

Adirondack Extreme Adventure Course has become one of the Northeast’s premier aerial parks, featuring treetop obstacle courses, ziplines, rope bridges, and challenges for all skill levels set within the Adirondack forest canopy. Since opening in 2007, the park has welcomed thousands of visitors seeking adventure in the heart of the Adirondacks.
Tubby Tubes River Co. has long been a favorite summer tradition for locals and tourists alike, offering scenic lazy river tubing trips down the Hudson River in Lake Luzerne. Known for its laid-back atmosphere and classic Adirondack summer experience, Tubby Tubes attracts families, groups, and vacationers from across the Northeast each season. The Johnson Family purchased Tubby Tubes in May of 2021.
